| 10:30 AM: | QUICK DRAW COMICS! -- Watch as comic artist take suggestions from the audience and race to see who can draw the image the fastest. (Artists: TBA). |
| 11 AM - 12 PM | WORKSHOP The Art of Making Comics 101. an introductory class in creating simple and wonderful comic book characters led by AMY IGNATOW, writer/illustrator for the POPULARITY --, (Abrams Books) . |
| 11:30 AM- 12 PM | SPECIAL EVENT -- on the convention floor. TAG TEAM COMICS! In this exciting competition kids will work with comic book writers and artists to design original comic book characters and bios before time runs out. |
| 11 AM - 5 PM | Portfolio Review Crew All day, professional writers, illustrators, editors will review student's portfolio (artwork's) to give them tips on how to improve their work. |
| 11 a.m. 6 p.m | Kids’ Corner: where kids can sit and read comics. |
| 11 AM 5 PM | SKETCH CITY! JComic artists will be doing FREE sketches and drawing demonstration at their tables and selected areas of the convention floor. |
| 12 PM | Professional INKER, PHYLIS NOVIN (The Simpsons for Bongo Comics) will be giving inking workshops at her table, with fellow comic artist, JEFF ZAPATA |
| 12:00 PM. -1:00 PM. | PANEL – Careers In Comics! Join professional writers, illustrators, editors, and designers as they share how they got started in their careers and how their jobs have changed over time. They’ll also offer tips for young people interested in breaking into comics. There will be plenty of time for Q&A with the audience. (Panelist: TBA)

| 12 PM 1 PM | WORKSHOP –Where the Action Is, Part 1, Young people who want to improve their artwork will learn how the pros put so many dynamic poses and so much motion into drawing characters (Artist: Ray Felix). |
| 12 PM 1:00 PM | WORKSHOP –The Art of Making Comics 101 - an introductory class in creating simple and wonderful comic book characters (Artist: JAMES BARRY, artist on Tokyopop’s “Warriors”)

| 1:00 PM 2:00 PM | SPECIAL EVENT – Join special guest Jamal Igle-(artist on DC’s Firestorm, Nightwing, Supergirl, etc) as he signs, sketches and yacks it up with kids at his table on the main floor)

| 2:00 PM 3:00 PM | WORKSHOP – Give it Some Color! - A professional artist and colorist will teach students some of the tricks of the trade in the wonderful world of computer coloring comics! (Artist: TBA.) |
| 2:00 PM 3:00 PM | PANEL – The ABCs of Comics –What they are and their value to children past, present, and future. This time the emphasis will be on the FUTURE of comics, literacy, and kids. |
| 3:00 4:00 PM | WORKSHOP – Star Ships and Cadillac’s -- Learn some of the tricks to drawing cool vehicles, weapons, and diabolical machines (Artist: TBA) |
| 3:00 PM 3:30 PM | SPECIAL EVENT (on the convention floor) – TAG TEAM COMICS! In this exciting competition kids will work with comic book writers and artists to design original comic book characters and bios before time runs out. |
| 3:00 PM 4:00 PM | PANEL – WHAT’S NEW WITH ARCHIE? Join members of Team Archie as they talk about recent events and exciting new things to come in the world of America’s longest running teen icons. |
